What does First B Jackson teach about sexual temptation?

Drawn from the messages where it was actually addressed: the words said from the front, the passages taught, and where to hear the whole thing.

At First B Jackson, the teaching on sexual temptation starts with a word Paul gives Timothy and returns to it repeatedly: flee. Pastor Bryan Bryan taught from 1 Timothy 6 and 1 Corinthians 6:18 that sexual immorality is in a category of its own, because unlike other sins it is against the body itself. That is not a reason for shame but a reason for urgency. The command is not to manage the pull or negotiate with it, but to run. Joseph running from Potiphar's wife was held up as the model; David and Bathsheba were offered as the warning of what happens when you stay.

Pastor Bryan connected flight to desire. Paul's word 'craving' is deeper than ordinary want, and the direction a person's appetite is always reaching determines where they end up. The same sermon also placed sexual immorality alongside materialism and idolatry as things Paul explicitly commands believers to flee, which means the church treats this not as a private struggle disconnected from the rest of life but as one front in a broader battle over what a person loves and pursues.

The 2020 message on Hebrews 12 brought a sharper edge to the same pattern. Pastor Ray used Esau as a picture of trading something real but unseen for something immediate and tangible, the appetite of the moment overriding what God has promised. He made clear that Esau regretted his choice but never actually repented of it, and that those two things are not the same. Regret feels the loss; repentance turns around. The call in both messages is not just to stop but to pursue: righteousness, godliness, faith, love, steadfastness, and gentleness are what Paul tells Timothy to run toward, and that pursuit is what gives the fleeing its direction.
