Speaker 3How are you all? Well, you look good. You look great. What do you say we stand up? We'll bring, just begin to to praise and worship.
0:09
I got a verse to share for you. It's from Psalm one zero five. It's give thanks to the Lord and proclaim his greatness. Let the whole world know what he has done. We've come here to give thanks, give praise, give our adoration, heart to God.
0:22
Let's sing it out.
0:28
Speaker 2Alright. Children of the living God, let's sing. Children of the living God, come and sing, sing out loud. Of the living living God. Saint to the living God.
0:45
And Saint the wonders he has made, burdened by falling rain. Saint the wonders he has made, Saint the living God. And how he loves us, how he loves us with great love. He who sits enthroned above all our lives. Spilled his bunions and a spirit like of sin, he forgives.
1:37
Saint, the mercy that he gives. Saints, the living God, and how he loves us. How he loves us with great love. He who sits enthroned above. For the morning.
2:04
Sing for the morning when he comes on clouds, glorious sun. Sing for the morning when he comes. Sing for the living God.
2:44
Speaker 1Amen. How are y'all? Have a seat. Y'all can have a seat. I've got a few announcements this morning.
2:52
And Blake, I put a couple of slides in there that you might not have seen but Monday nights is on this week. It's on just like it is every week. Now, this is not usually our first slide. Usually, we have an Awana slide in here but you see the circle and the X that's usually in the middle of this is gone. We're not having Awana tomorrow night.
3:10
Now, kids are welcome at Monday nights. So, if you wanna bring the kids and come to Monday nights for meal music and a message, it's on.
3:16
Speaker 2Yep. There's also...
3:18
Speaker 3There's also nursery there too for ages. Let's see. Where's Bailey? Is she here? Downstairs.
3:25
Speaker 1She's in the nursery. Yeah.
3:26
Speaker 3One to four, and then the older kids can help if they're helping in the nursery. So, no,
3:31
Speaker 1that that... That's available. Thank you. This thing's not working. So, connect hour is still going and that's happening at ten between services.
3:45
That's it. Just coffee and donuts. If you would join us, May 31. We actually are taking off May 30 as a Monday night. May 31 is a Tuesday night and we're taking off that Monday night and asking everybody that normally comes to Monday night to come to Tuesday night at the Bar J.
4:01
So, the Bar J is doing a Turning Point fundraiser. It's about the eighteenth or nineteenth year that they've done this thing in a row. So y'all know the the Turning Point is a pregnancy resource center. We've got a few baby bottles left back in the back. We're trying to get all those back in for raising funds for Turning Point.
4:19
We also are having... First b is having the Surf Shack Vacation Bible School. Do y'all know when that is?
4:25
Speaker 2Because it's not on the slide.
4:26
Speaker 1Does anybody know when it is? June twentieth to twenty fourth. That's right. Here we are. June twentieth to twenty fourth.
4:32
I was just messing with you. Y'all had to walk past on the way in a burlap table back there with several pieces of blue paper with little surfboards and or boats and things on em and they are listed on each one of those little pieces of paper is a supply that's needed for this vacation Bible school. So, when you leave and you head out through the back, back there, if you would pick up one of those pieces of paper and then go wherever necessary to get that item, whatever it is. Tanya has them. She's waving them around.
5:01
There you go. Thank you, Vanna. Yeah. You can distribute them. No.
5:06
Just... If you would go by and pick them up on your way out, that would be great. And this is happening. We still could use some volunteers. So please talk to Krista.
5:13
Would you stand up? Nancy, would you stand up?
5:16
Speaker 2I'm not calling you out
5:17
Speaker 1for talking. Can you stand up? I'm just kidding. I'm totally kidding. Sorry.
5:24
I didn't mean to surprise you. That's Dancey and that's Christa. If you if you wanna volunteer for for Vacation Bible School, talk to one of them. They are approachable and they have a great sense of humor. Would you stand up and greet one another and we'll bring you back together with a song.
5:41
Alright, everybody. So we're not gonna bring you back together with a song. If y'all would have a seat, we'll bring you back together with a baptism. So this is Elisa Wakup, the oldest of Eric and Colleen's Walk Up Girls and she has professed faith in Christ sometime back but we are going to baptize Elisa this morning. Elisa is very shy, and she's standing in front of a lot of y'all, but I'm gonna give her this chance.
6:08
Elisa, is there anything that you'd like to say? Okay. That's what I thought. So I'll tell you what. Why don't I...
6:17
We've stepped down in here. I'll step down first. You can step down after me. By stepping into these waters, she is declaring in front of all of you. No matter how nervous she is, she is declaring that she identifies with Jesus Christ.
6:39
And so I know this. We've talked about it at length. And I love this little girl and I know that this church loves this little girl and she is proclaiming right now in front of you all that she identifies with Jesus. So, in obedience to the command, for me to go and make disciples and baptize them and teach them all that Christ has commanded. I'm going to baptize you, Elisa, in the name of the father and the son and the Holy Spirit.
7:14
Now, I'm going to sit the mic down and holler from here. In obedience to that command, I baptize you, my sister, in the name of the father and the son and the holy ghost, buried with Christ, and raised to walk in newness of life.
8:04
Speaker 2Alright. Let's sing the wondrous love of God. So my soul. What wondrous love is there's that cause the lone bears to bear the dreadful curse for my soul. For my soul.
8:32
Two better than treacherous on my soul. When I was sinking, when I was sinking down, sinking down, sinking down. When I was sinking down, sinking down. When I was sinking down, beneath God's righteous crown, Christ laid aside his crown for my soul for my soul. Christ laid aside his crown for my soul.
9:16
To God and to the lamb who is so great I am. While millions join the theme I will sing, I will sing. While millions join the theme I will sing. When from death we're free, And when from death, I'm free. I'll sing on.
10:03
I'll sing on. And when from death, I'm free. I'll sing on.
10:42
Speaker 3Let's sing I'll meet with you.
10:47
Speaker 2I'll meet with you and my soul sings I as your word throws and my soul finds rest, and my selfishness you show me grace. I worship you I sing. My hope is in you alone. And I'll wait on you. I'll wait on you.
12:31
On
13:31
Speaker 3Would you pray with me? God, we are are grateful for this hope, and I thank you that it is truly the peace that passes, understanding. And and it and it really is. And unless unless we kinda get there, we don't always experience it, but I I even thank you, God, for some of the darker times in life that draw us closer to you. And they they help us to experience the peace as we draw near to you, and they help us to experience the hope and that confident assurance that we have in you.
14:02
And I pray that that that would be that'd be that'd be our life story, really, that as we hit those dark times and and go through those valleys, that it would cause us to press into you even further and experience that hope and that joy and that peace and and so much more. Amen.
14:33
Speaker 2And even though we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, your perfect love is casting out fear. And even when I'm caught in the middle of the stones of the sky. I won't turn back. I know you run, and I will feel no need. For my God is with me.
15:08
And if my God is with me, only shall Every giant, every throw. Oh, no. You never let go. You never let go of me. And I can see the light that is coming for the heart that puts on.
15:50
Glorious that be on the open day. And there won't be an end to these troubles, But until I become, we'll get to know you're here on the Earth. I will fear no need.
16:59
Speaker 3Amen. Y'all can have a seat and I'd like to invite the frontline team to come forward here as we participate in the worship through giving. Allow me to pray here. God, I'm I'm just thankful. Again, I'm just again thankful for the peace that passes understanding and that your presence with us wherever we go.
17:18
It's not just here. It's it's anywhere and everywhere. I thank you God for all you give. We just look around and see what beauty, there is, what you've created, and how you sustain us and, as we give here, let it... I I pray God that we would give with joyful hearts.
17:38
We'd be people that are are just really glad glad givers. People that really appreciate you and what you've done and what you give, and so we give back. In Christ's name, amen.
17:52
Speaker 1Alright. So, this is the last Sunday. That's what you're going to say. This is the last Sunday of children's church for this summer season and we'll be cranking back up when school cranks back up. I hate to even mention it but y'all are heading towards the end of summer.
18:07
I mean, the beginning of summer and I was told last week that the handlebars and the seats are both white. That's why you can't see em up here that those are not uncomfortable bicycles. They do have seats and they do have handlebars, alright? So, I, we've had a, we've had a ministry week this week. It has been pretty intensive and I look forward to times of baptism because it's just great.
18:32
I can't think of anything more joyous in the life of the church than than seeing a a little one baptized. Identifying with Christ at an early age. I I'm a I get a little overwhelmed a lot. Sorry. So, today, we are up to Romans five twelve and we're just gonna proceed forward.
18:55
Romans five twelve and we're gonna get up to six four. I'm stopping in kind of in the middle of a thought depending on which Bible you use. Sometimes, they put the paragraph divisions in a different place. I'm gonna get through the end of six four and then next week, I'm gonna backtrack just a little bit. Like I've said a while back, we're keeping a wet edge on our paint here.
19:12
When we're painting this canvas, we're gonna keep a wet edge and come back and double up and do a little bit of chapter six again but I wanted to go forward especially in light of having the baptism this morning to get up to six four. So, if you look at Romans five twelve through the end of that chapter 21, death through Adam is shown to be our default. Death through Adam is shown to be the default for human beings. Life through Christ is available and that's made pretty obvious all through Romans up to this point and it's gonna be made evident again today and then, this kinda calls for you though because all are in Adam default. You don't get to choose whether or not you're going to be an Adam to begin with but when you have the choice of Christ, he's available.
20:07
He has made the the paid the penalty. He has made all that is necessary for you to be saved, to be justified by faith in him. So with whom will you identify? That's what the text is asking today. That's what it's saying.
20:25
And usually, I have about 83 to 116 slides. I think I have 25 today. I don't have very many because I I think that this properly understood is kinda cut and dried. I I don't think that it is something that's very very difficult to understand and I don't want to muddy the waters. That's a pun in a little while.
20:46
I don't want to muddy things, alright? The baptismal waters here. Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man and death through sin, verse 12 says, and in this way, death came to all people because all sinned. This is in one verse, the concept of original sin. Augustine, Saint Augustine has gone over this thoroughly and many since him have gone over it thoroughly and they're trying to figure out exactly how it's been transmitted down the line from our federal head, our father, Adam but it has been transmitted.
21:22
That's what Paul says. He doesn't say exactly how people have theorized lots of different ways. Some of em have other theological ramifications that we wanna not get into. Honestly, if the Bible does not go into it and it leaves it as a little bit mysterious, I think we're okay leaving it a little bit mysterious. So, therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man and that it that one man is Adam.
21:45
It'll say it in just a minute and death entered through sin. So, had he not sinned, he'd still be alive and none of us would, okay? Does that make any sense to you? Death entered through sin and in this way, death came to all people. So, the physical death that we experience is a ramification, a consequence of Adam's sin.
22:08
There's an old Hungarian proverb that says, Adam ate the apple and our teeth still ache. It's not just that we will physically die. It is that we have a distorted will. We tend to choose to do the wrong thing. Now, some of the people in this room would say, we always choose to do the wrong thing.
22:30
We cannot, we are hopeless, absolutely. Yeah. I think that's probably right depending on how you mean it. We definitely have a distorted will but we do have a choice to choose God. He gives us that choice.
22:43
In his sovereignty, he gives us that bit of free will. So, because all sinned, To be sure, sin was in the world before the law was given. So, from Adam forward, you see it in his next generation, right? Cain slew Abel. You see it in all of the generations up to Noah.
23:03
You see that? You see him after Noah. As soon as Noah, this righteous man, this preacher, this guy who has been steadily proclaiming God's word and being rejected over and over. Land the boat, dry land, gets drunk. Oh my goodness.
23:18
It's pervasive among people. Sin is part of our nature. That's where we get it. So, to be sure, sin was in the world before the law was given. Now, he's talking about the law there that was given to Moses but sin is not charged against anyone's account where there is no law.
23:34
That was a tough one. That is a tough one for me to say, wait a second, if somebody doesn't know, they still died. It says it in the next verse. Nevertheless, death reigned. It's part of our humanity that physically we will die.
23:52
Nevertheless, death reigned from the time of Adam to the time of Moses. Even over those who did not sin by breaking a command, death reigned. It is that concept of original sin. It's transmitted down whether you know it or not. You are identified with Christ to begin with.
24:10
Even over those who did not sin by breaking a command. Now, Adam had been given a direct command from God. You may eat of all of the trees in this garden but not this one. There was only one and I I like what Ted had to say a couple weeks ago. If somebody gives you 99 things and holds back one thing for themselves, would that be a good person or a bad person?
24:30
I think that's a good guy. He just gave me 99 good things. But he held back one thing for himself. Maybe he knows better than I do that I can't handle this one thing. That's what happened.
24:41
Adam chose to break the command of God directly. Now, Eve had not been given a direct command. She'd been given the word through Adam and it doesn't list her. Doesn't mention her. It's Adam's fault that Eve sinned.
24:57
Wow. Even over those who did not sin by breaking a direct command as did Adam, who is a pattern or a type of the one to come. But the gift is not like the trespass. The gift, the gift of God, the gift of God, his grace, his gracious offering of salvation and justification is not like the trespass. For if the many died by the trespass of the one man, that's Adam, for if many have died, all.
25:31
Many have died by the trespass of the one man. How much more did God's grace and that gift justification, salvation, a relationship with God. How much more did God's grace and the gift that came by the grace of that one man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many. Are you getting this? That's the place where he says, Adam and Adam, we all sinned.
25:57
I I looked up just the title of Piper's message on this and it was something along this line. The fatal disobedience of Adam and the triumphal obedience of Jesus Christ. Adam did not have original sin. Jesus whether by means of the virgin birth, he was not imputed with original sin. We don't know exactly why it is.
26:22
There have been lots of speculations. Jesus was not imputed with original sin nor did he choose to sin throughout his whole life, lived a perfect life. So, that's why Adam is a type or a what do they call it back there? A pattern of the one to come. They both start off with a clean slate.
26:39
Adam has disobedience and that becomes fatal not just for him but for everybody after him. Jesus starts off with a clean slate and lives his life in accordance with the spirit of God throughout his whole earthly life. With no sin, has no sin debt to pay and therefore, he can substitute his righteous life given on the cross as a sacrifice for anyone who will believe. That's what he says over and over and over again. The gift is not like the trespass.
27:12
For if the many died by the trespass of the one man, how much more did God's grace and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many. That's overflowing to the many. Nor can the gift of God be compared with the result of one man's sin. The judgment followed one sin and brought condemnation but the gift followed many trespasses even on the on the account of just one life. The gift of God, his grace follows many trespasses and brings or brought justification.
27:48
That's salvation. That's a relationship with God. The gift followed many trespasses and brought... So which one of those is greater? God's grace is greater because if it's grace, it's completely undeserved.
28:05
God's grace is greater. You might say, well, my sin, my original sin is completely undeserved too. I didn't do anything to deserve that. Have you done anything since then? Yes.
28:19
By nature and nurture. Jesus didn't have that to deal with. Yeah. And he didn't ever deal with it because he never sinned. Did he did he have the choice?
28:28
When he was in the garden, when he was praying and he said, let this cup pass from me. I don't I don't feel like it. But he said, nevertheless, not my will but yours be done. He certainly had the feeling that temptation. In fact, we're told he was tempted in all the ways just as we are tempted, yet he was without sin.
28:57
Next. For if by the trespass of the one man, that's Adam, death reigned through that one man. He's our federal head, the theologians sometimes call it. Death reigned through that one man. How much more will those who receive God's abundant provision of grace and it does require receiving.
29:16
You see that? I say that and I'm making all these caveats because some people have viewed this passage and saying, well, all sin and Adam and all are redeemed in Christ, universal salvation, live however you want to, no big deal, love wins, period. But it does take receiving it. Are you with me? That's why there are only 23 slides today.
29:37
This is heavy stuff. Much more will those who receive God's abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ. Now, I told you a couple weeks ago, three weeks ago, and then last week that we're getting into a section about how it is that we actually live out our Christian life. So, it's about practice or practice instead of thought. It's about practice.
30:03
Instead of belief, it's about how you're doing follows your believing and your being. Those who receive God's abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man Jesus Christ. He's saying that it is possible to live life through or in Jesus Christ. It's possible for us as human beings to live life. Now, perfectly, it appears not.
30:30
It's certainly he gave us the great example and he gave us the salvation and he gave us that ability to start over with a clean slate and so we do have before us ever before us is that choice. Are we gonna go with what the spirit of God says or are we gonna feed our flesh? It's possible. Right here, it shows that if you receive that provision of grace and that gift of righteousness, that it's possible to reign, to reign in life through this one man, Jesus Christ. Consequently, just as one trespass resulted in condemnation for all people, so also one righteous act resulted in justification in life for all people.
31:12
That's a universal appeal. Some people have used it as universalism. It's certainly a universal appeal. Christ died for everyone who would receive him. Okay?
31:27
For just as through the disobedience of the one man, the many were made sinners. So, also through the obedience of the one man, the many will be made righteous. Amen. Which one of those is better? To stick with the commonplace, everybody's got it It's just something that everyone of us has
31:53
Speaker 2I'm sorry. This thing is acting up, but I
31:55
Speaker 1can't do any more about it. Is there anything you can do from back
31:57
Speaker 2there? Okay.
32:01
Speaker 1Thank you. Thank you. Alright. Just as through the disobedience of the one man, we can follow after Adam and it's not hard. In fact, the rush song, if you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.
32:20
You remember that one? Alright, you remember the Led Zeppelin? There are two pads you can go by but in the long run, forget that there's still time to change the road you're on. Listen to Paul on that, okay? Listen to Paul.
32:31
He says, today is the day of salvation. Amen. Today is the day. You, as Billy Graham says, the spirit of God may never be closer to your heart than he is today and right now. Amen.
32:43
So, which one are you going to identify with? Are you going to identify with Adam which is the default position or you going to identify with Christ? The law was brought in so that trespass might increase. Wait a second. That doesn't make any sense.
33:00
Yes, it makes sense. The law was brought in so that trespass might increase. There is a way to cut down on the overpopulation of the prisons. Is there a way to cut down the overpopulation of prison? Yes.
33:17
Make everything legal. We're even trying that these days. My goodness. Colorado has tried it. Right?
33:22
The law was brought in so that trespass might increase. It might actually stop some bad behavior just by human behavior modification, and it might also say, wow, I'm falling short in a way that I just don't seem to be able to control. I need AA says, a higher power. I need something above me. How about your creator?
33:48
How about your creator and redeemer? The only way, the only provision scripture says, that has been made. There's one name under heaven whereby you must be saved. Amen. Jesus Christ.
33:59
So, the law was brought in so that trespass might increase but you know, when you have a written law, when you have a written document that says, this is the rule, this is what it is, or if you know you have been schooled in, taught the rules, then your responsibility increases, right? But where sin increased, grace increased all the more. Amen. Where sin increased, grace increased all the more. When God was given the law to Moses on top of Sinai, the children of Israel were down below breaking every one of those commandments.
34:42
And he still got them out of that desert. His grace increases. It's still increasing day by day but where sin increased, grace increased all the more. Are you feeling an increase of sin in the world in general? I'm feeling it.
35:01
His grace is the only remedy for that but it's gotta be grace. It's not his rules, okay? His rules, yeah, they tell you what's wrong but his grace is what gets you over into justification. Alright, but where sin increased, grace increased all the more. So that just as sin reigned in death, so also might reign.
35:24
So also grace might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our lord. Do you see this very, very distinct black and white comparison between the two? I do. First Corinthians fifteen twenty two says, for as in Adam, all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive. Now, you gotta think about both of these letters were written to Christians.
35:53
They're written to the church and Paul trusted that they were Christians even though they're wayward. He trusted that the Corinthians, whoo, really wayward. He never met the Romans but he knew the Corinthians and they were way off base. He knew they were Christians though and he's saying, all of you who have identified with Christ will be made alive. All of you will be made alive but in Adam, all of all will die.
36:16
So, I'm gonna ask you, with whom will you identify? This sounds like a sermon I grew up with, honestly. It is straight up evangelism. Everyone of us is in the same bucket to begin with but God has made an offer of righteousness and grace and life to replace unrighteousness and condemnation and death with whom will you identify? All who identify with Adam will die.
36:43
That's the default position. All who are identified with Christ will be made alive and I love
36:48
Speaker 2this and Carl loves it too. One of our songs we sing.
36:51
Speaker 1By the same power that raised Jesus from the grave. Amen. By the same power, he's shown that he can do it. He's shown that he doesn't. Show that he did did it before he died.
37:00
He raised several. Afterwards, we see several and we know there will be many according to this passage who will receive and live. So, then we get to chapter six. Chapter six says, well, what shall we say then? Because he just talked about if you go back to the verses, excuse me, right there.
37:22
The law brought, the law was brought in so that trespass might increase but where sin increased, grace increased all the more so that just as sin reigned in death, so also grace right might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ, our lord. Six says, what shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin? So that grace may increase? Now, we've answered this question twice already in other sermons.
37:46
No, people stop it. Just quit it, okay? No, you don't sin more so that grace may increase. If you really understand grace and you really understand that you really are guilty and you get away with grace, you get undeserved favor and you understand the depth of that undeserved favor. It's the difference in life and death literally and eternally.
38:10
What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin so that grace may increase? May it never be. Heck no. It's very very strong, alright?
38:21
How shall we who died to sin still live in it? When we identify with Christ, we identified with his death on the cross and his death on the cross was to put an end to the power of sin. So, how shall we who by identification with Christ died to sin, still live in it. How can we just keep on going about our life intentionally and habitually sinning? So that grace may abound.
38:47
No. We don't do that. Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus have been baptized into his death? Like, that's what we identified with is we are saying that he took our punishment. We are receiving the undeserved love of God and he took our punishment.
39:11
Do you not know that? That all who have been baptized into Christ Jesus have been baptized into his death. Now, there are a lot of different ways of baptizing. Y'all if if I talk to one of my seminary professors, he was an associated reformed Presbyterian guy. So, when I would talk to him in the hallway, I heard a guy passing by one day and he said, Doctor Larkin, I'm having a hard time with baptism.
39:31
I'm just wondering. I'm working at a little church and he said, well, when considering baptism, you must consider at least seven things. One of them, over the years, we pray and he went off into this. I was like, goodness gracious. Aspersion, effusion, immersion, all these different ways that you can apply water to a person.
39:49
The metaphor for baptism is this though. I mean, we do immersion and the next verse will show you why I think we do immersion and we do we practice believers baptism and believers baptism is once someone has made a decision for themselves, who they will identify with, either Adam or Christ. Then, they would ask to be baptized or they would, you know, be a candidate for baptism, we'd say. And I'm of the opinion that here is water, what hinders you from being baptized. If you wanna identify with Christ here today, you can do that.
40:23
We've got water right here. And I'm glad to dunk you. I brought an extra set of clothes. I promise. Another set.
40:31
Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus have been baptized into his death? Therefore, we have been buried with him through baptism into death. So that as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the father, the same power that raised Jesus from the dead, so we too might walk in newness of life. Amen? Amen.
40:56
Amen. I think that's it. Baptism is a symbol of an identification with Christ. Now, at the church that I grew up in, if you came and you had been sprinkled as a baby, you had to be dumped before you could be a member of the church. That's not the way it is in this church.
41:13
If you wanna be baptized right now, seriously, I'll take off the wingtips and we'll get in the pool. Here is water. What hinders you? I want for everybody here to identify with Christ. I don't want for anybody to leave today as Adam is their federal head, okay?
41:34
Take on the headship of Christ and that's it. That's the sermon. Would y'all stand with us and we're gonna sing a song unless somebody comes forward. If somebody comes forward, we're gonna sing two songs with the baptism between, alright?
42:03
Speaker 3I look to the hills.
42:05
Speaker 2I look to the hills. Where does my help come from? From you, you know, you're reaching out for me. You, I'm a say, oh, you are the Lord Almighty. None can stand against your name.
42:35
Lord, your name has some power to say. Power to say you are the Lord Almighty. There is nothing like your love. Lord, you're gonna love you. I've given it all, given it all.
42:59
And I come to the cross. And I come to the cross. There I find all I need. Surrender You are the light that shines. Let's sing that again.
43:59
You're the one I live for. You are the one I live for. You are the one that saves. You are the light that shines. You are the Lord Almighty.
44:15
Don't care. I'm standing against your name. Lord, your name has some power to say, power to save you. Though I'm mighty, there is nothing like your love. Hold your love.
44:32
You have given it all, given it all.
44:51
Speaker 1Now, from Ephesians one eighteen through 23, I think parallels this and this is the blessing and the prayer today for the benediction. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened so that you will know what is the hope of his calling, what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of his power toward us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of the strength of his might, which he brought about in Christ. When he raised him from the dead, and he seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places far above rule and authority and power and dominion and every name that is named not only in this age but also in the one to come and he put all things in subjection under his feet, and gave him as head over all things to the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all. Amen.
45:39
Amen.
