Talk about it
- Proverbs 22:6 says to train up a child in the way he should go. Whether you are at home or at work, how can you make your home a place where Jesus is welcome and where your family is shielded from the things that would pull them away from God?
- Rinsey described the Proverbs 31 woman as wise, bold, valuable, trustworthy, generous, strong, and above all someone who fears the Lord. Which of those qualities do you find hardest to live out, and why?
- Rinsey pointed out that it was the women around Jesus who stayed faithful at the cross, were first to the tomb, and first to believe and share the news of the resurrection. What does that kind of faithfulness look like in the church today, and what gets in the way of it?
- Rinsey said his mother's example had more impact on him than any preacher or teacher in his life. Who in your life has modeled that kind of quiet, consistent faithfulness, and how did it shape you?
- Rinsey closed by saying that because God is faithful to us, we can be faithful, and that applies to men and women alike. Where in your own life right now is God calling you to a greater faithfulness, in your home, in the world, or in the church?
