What does First B Jackson teach about body of christ?
Drawn from the messages where it was actually addressed: the words said from the front, the passages taught, and where to hear the whole thing.
At First B Jackson, the teaching on the body of Christ starts with what Paul means when he says the church is one body with many members. In the 1 Corinthians 12 series, the point was pressed hard: the body image is not just a tidy organizational metaphor. When Jesus asked Saul on the Damascus road why he was persecuting him, what Saul had actually been doing was going after the church. Christ identifies so completely with His people that the body of Christ describes what the church actually is, not simply how it is arranged.
Both the Romans 12 and Ephesians 4 messages returned to the same ground. Each member belongs to the others, and that cuts directly against the pull toward individualism and self-sufficiency. The parts that seem weakest are often the ones the body cannot do without, whether that is the person who quietly sets up and cleans the building every week or the bereavement ministry that showed up to serve a grieving family. In the Ephesians 4 series, Pastor Josh traced the word behind "equipping" to the idea of fine tuning, an exact adjustment, and his point was that recognizing each person's particular fit is part of what equipping looks like in practice. Different people are wired differently, and the Spirit already knows that.
The unity of the body is given, not manufactured. Only God establishes it, but any one person can ruin it. Pastor Van was plain about what that means for Protestant Americans who are practiced at dividing and denominating. What holds the body together is not uniformity but the shared ground of Christ's work, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all. Suffering and honoring one member is felt everywhere else in the body, and the communion table was presented as the fitting place to receive that truth together, equal at the foot of the cross, receiving grace by no merit of their own.

The passage taught · 1 Corinthians 12:1-11
1 Now concerning spiritual things, brothers, I don’t want you to be ignorant.
2 You know that when you were heathen, you were led away to those mute idols, however you might be led.
3 Therefore I make known to you that no man speaking by God’s Spirit says, “Jesus is accursed.” No one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” but by the Holy Spirit.
4 Now there are various kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit.
