What does First B Jackson teach about fear of evangelism?
Drawn from the messages where it was actually addressed: the words said from the front, the passages taught, and where to hear the whole thing.
At First B Jackson, the teaching on fear of evangelism starts with an honest observation: we are already natural evangelists. Pastor Brad has pointed out that we recommend restaurants, movies, and the best route to Salt Lake City without a second thought, and yet we treat our faith as something personal and private. He named that hesitation directly as one of the enemy's most effective tactics, one that keeps us silent while eternity is at stake for the people around us. Faith, he argued, is intensely personal but it is not private.
The teaching from 1 Peter 3:13-17 gave that conviction a practical shape. Pastor Brad worked through three areas: the attitude we bring to those conversations, the basic answers we can offer, and the personal hope we carry as a testimony. On attitude, he was clear that gentleness and respect are not just good manners. They flow from remembering that we ourselves were once enemies of God before He came after us, and that the goal is not to win an argument but to win a person. On answers, he pointed people toward the historical core of the faith, that Jesus was a real person, that he was crucified for claiming to be God, and that his followers died proclaiming he rose from the dead, and he encouraged the church to be ready to give reasons for the hope they carry.
Guest speaker Nick Stern added a note that lands close to home for a church in Jackson Hole: Christians here are among the least-persecuted people in Christian history, and the world literally walks through this town. He drew on Romans 10:14 to press home the point that someone has to speak before anyone can hear. Across all of these messages, the consistent word to people who feel afraid or unqualified is that the goal is not polished performance. It is simply to open your mouth rather than stay silent.

The passage taught · 1 Corinthians 15
1 Now I declare to you, brothers, the Good News which I preached to you, which also you received, in which you also stand,
2 by which also you are saved, if you hold firmly the word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.
3 For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,
4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,
