What does First B Jackson teach about god's faithfulness?
Drawn from the messages where it was actually addressed: the words said from the front, the passages taught, and where to hear the whole thing.
At First B Jackson, the teaching on God's faithfulness starts with the conviction that it does not depend on human faithfulness in return. Pastor Ray worked through Romans 3 and showed that the question Paul raises, whether Jewish unbelief cancels out what God has promised, lands with a decisive answer: God remains true even when every person is found a liar. The prophet Hosea, told by God to keep loving an unfaithful wife, acted out in his own life what God does with His people. Unbelief does not nullify the covenant; it simply puts the person who holds it in a dangerous place.
Pastor Carl brought the same conviction into Philippians 1, anchoring a whole evening's teaching on verse six: that God, who began a good work in a person, will keep working until it is finished on the day Jesus returns. Carl pressed the congregation to be genuinely assured by that rather than just familiar with it. God works through every circumstance, good and bad, and even works in spite of His people when they are not cooperating, the way He kept working through Jonah.
Pastor Ray returned to the same thread in Psalm 92, where he described God as long-suffering and not willing that anyone should perish. The psalm's picture of the righteous person planted in the house of the Lord, still yielding fruit in old age and full of sap, reflects what that faithfulness finally produces in a life. Psalm 19, he said, makes the same point from creation: day after day the world pours out evidence of the God who made it, and the evidence is sufficient.

The passage taught · Ephesians 2:4-6
4 But God, being rich in mercy, for his great love with which he loved us,
5 even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),
6 and raised us up with him, and made us to sit with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,
